Great counterweight, but it's misleading.
The ballast works well. We filled it with concrete and only got about 500lbs in it instead of 800lbs, but it still provided an ample counter weight for the Kubota Tractor. The image shows a shovel upright in the ballast which makes it look bigger than it actually is. (It's roughly 2 1/2' wide and 20” tall). The misleading picture is frustrating, but it's actual size is perfect for what we need The hitch receiver is garbage. We tried hauling a trailer with it, and the metal instantly started to warp and show signs of failing. Ignore the hitch receiver if you're looking for a ballast; the metal that the receiver is welded to is just too thin to be functional.
