This rice cooker is worth every penny. For starters I live in a dormitory that does serve meals, but to be able to make rice whenever I want to be an extra side dish is just very handy. It's also super quick to make. You just put the rice and water in and turn it on and it's ready in no time.. You don't even have to check on it, it just finishes on its own and automatically switches to warming mode. Not only that but it even has a delay timer so I can prepare it during a break and have it ready and hot for when I'm ready to eat. What's also amazing about this rice cooker is that you can use it for way more than just rice. You can make steamed vegetables (even simultaneously with the rice), and it could also be used to make oatmeal, cakes, and slow cooked meat, or to even just warm things up all with the push of a button. It's also very light and not too space consuming. And it's very easy to clean because you just take out the inner pot and steam tray and leave the rest of the machine alone. I would highly recommend this product if you're looking for simple and convenient ways of cooking.
