The 1/4 oz Mini-Trap is the legendary Rat-L-Trap's little brother. This little guy swims with intense vibration that demands attention from even the largest predator. With its smaller profile, it helps to match the hatch when baitfish are running a bit smaller. Staying shallow is a natural with the lighter weight body, but the lure has a great fluttering fall when stopped over deeper waters. A simple cast and steady retrieve or trolling action will catch virtually all species of sport fish. From trout, crappie, bass to redfish, snook, and striper, the Mini-Trap will catch any predator fish that's chasing after small baitfish snacks. A versatile lure, the Mini-Trap can be fished in extremely shallow water with the rod tip up and a fast retrieve or counted down one second per foot to extreme depths. Retrieve styles vary from super fast to super slow, yo-yo, and stop-n-go. Just vary these retrieves until the fish tell you what they want and be prepared for violent strikes.
