This is amazingly soft material. The wires are completely throughout the entire blanket. Some electric blankets have wires just in the middle and sometimes you can even feel them but not this one. I will be ordering more before prices continue to go up.

I use it in the weather and the summer I take it off. Also I bought a king size because I have a king size bed and it fits plus you can tuck it.
