How to measure the dog size?
Chest: measure the thickest part of the chest, add 2-3cm (1 inch) will be better. (Usually behind the two legs)
Length: Make sure your dog stands properly, not sitting or lying. Measure along the dog's backbone from the base of the neck to 5cm (2 inch) front the base of the tail.
Neck: the girth of the neck, add 2-3cm (1 inch) will be better.
Note: If your dog is a large chest, long hair, or at the high end of the size, you may order the next larger size to ensure a comfortable fit.

my dog approves!
My dog was rescued from Mississippi, and he's not used to wearing warm coats. He hates putting them on. I even bought some fancy brand-name coats, and he did not like them. Even if he's wearing it, he didn't want to play or run with them somehow. So, I researched more, and I found this coat and wanted to try it. AND he LOVES them a lot! It's very light and durable, easy to clean. My dog runs and plays with no problem! I'm happy with the purchase.
Works with front fasten harnesses
My 30lb terrier mix has a a deep chest and a small waist so the adjustable velcro waist is perfect on the tightest wrap. The neck is cut perfectly for her front fasten harness. A nice lightweight coat for late fall or early winter. Easy on and off over her harness.
Great Lightweight Jacket
I bought this for my foster dog, Tyrion. I'm guessing this was his first experience ever putting on any doggie clothes as he was taken aback and didn't know what to think. I bought the medium. He's 54 lbs. and it fits well. He's probably at the top of the weight limit for the medium. There isn't any stretch in the coat, but the Velcro allows adjustability and a custom fit to each dog. It's not a heavy coat, but is good for a quick trip in the backyard for potty. I'd double it up with a sweater for a longer walk in colder temps. I have this in Watercolor for my 65 lb. Pittie
