The description of, "dark without tasting burnt" is quite accurate. This didn't taste like an ashtray and had a pleasant sweet taste. I love coffees with a spicy/smokey profile. This was a good one, but quite a strong flavor. I liked this much more in a french press v.s. drip.

This coffee blew my mind. It's dark and smoky and it begs for a sweet pastry or chocolate cake but is just as delicious with a spot of cream in it. I hope Bean Box never stops roasting this one! Brewed in a drip and french press

Right up my alley. I'm partial to dark, oily beans that deliver a smoky, bold flavor; this reminds me of the French Roast I got from Vietnam about 30 years ago. Loved it.
