4.0 Is The Goods

I have the bottoms and tops, very warm perfect for late season Bow and firearms In NY. Don't need much layering with these. Absorbs plenty w/o keeping you cold..

Never a Square Pattern

I have a 4.0 that's lasted for about 12 years so far. It feels like neoprene and it's smooth not square patterned. The 3.0 shirts I have are square patterned. One is from about ten years ago and one is from last year. The 4.0 keeps me very warm. Remember, it's a BASE layer. It was never expected to keep you warm without putting on extra layers of clothing - like an outer shirt, sweat shirt and jacket!

4.0 base crew

I purchased one of these and after inspection thought it would be warm for my winter bike rides. I thought the fit was perfect except the waist was a little bigger than i like. I wasnt able to test it it cold winter weather right away because it was fall and ended up purchasing four more. Big mistake! The first cold day , I wore it on a bike ride with a thick 1/2 zip(north face gordon lyons) and hoody and was still cold.Dont think its worth 80.00
