The Best Cake Mix!

This makes a wonderful, moist cake as is, but most of the online bakers suggest using butter in place of oil, milk in place of water, and an extra egg. I like to make this with diet lime soda for a refreshing cake with fewer calories. You could add any flavor drink packet in it to get it more flavor, too. Overall, Betty Crocker wins taste tests around my house.

This is a great cake mix both by itself or as a base to add to. I made it by itself the first time I bought it and it's great - good taste and texture and it really is moist. I've also made it according to directions and then stirred in apple or blueberry pie filling - yum!

I made this recently for my husband‘s 40th birthday. I use one box to make 2 8 inch round cakes following the directions on the box and they turned out absolutely perfect . super light and fluffy and delicious. Paired this with a chocolate frosting that goes with the cake and it was really really good. Everyone loved it. I highly recommend this product and it's very good value. I will definitely buy this again.
