I don't know why I didn't purchase one of these years ago. It's sooo useful and has plenty of torque. I only gave it "good" ratings in value and durability because I haven't owned it long enough to rate it otherwise, but I would expect it to be excellent. I would highly recommend this drill.

Inital use was great.

Used this only once and was very pleased with the weight and balance of the drill, the effectiveness of the torque setting and the level of speed control I got with the trigger. The price was great and Hitachi tools I've used in the past have been very reliable.

Great tool

Another excellent product from Hitachi. I just wish I could afford to buy a second one. I use this everyday but I have to switch bits so often when building something I wish I had a second one. At some point I will have it, I hope. I haven't had it a long time so durability is not something on which I can comment although I expect it to last a long time.
