We did not buy this mattress pad to upgrade our bed. We bought it with full awareness that it would never see a mattress. This was always destined to be a deluxe ground arena for my dog and my mom's dog to body slam each other in comfort. we sandwiched a faux fur blanket so it looks like a curated pet lounge and not what it actually is, which is a padded WWE ring. If you get it, you get it. If you don't, that's fine. It has become their official play mat, nap mat, post zoomie recovery mat, and occasional existential stare into the distance mat. And inevitably, our zen life doggy mat. Because here is the twist: it is wildly comfortable. More comfortable than my actual bed on certain emotionally complex evenings. I will sit down to supervise. Then I lean back. Then I am fully horizontal on a faux fur blanket like I live there. I have fallen asleep on this pad more times than I am prepared to admit publicly. My spine has zero complaints. It has survived chaotic play, paw traction attempts, and enthusiastic flopping without flattening out. Still plush. Still supportive. Still superior. Long story short: this is technically a mattress pad, but functionally it is the best floor lounge investment of my adult life. Ten out of ten. Highly recommend, especially if your household includes dogs and a willingness to occasionally nap on the ground like a well supported woodland creature.

I wasn't expecting much from this mattress topper for the price. I was staying with family for a few weeks for the holidays and the bed I was sleeping in was too hard for me and was causing me pain. I went searching for a topper to try and alleviate at least some of my discomfort. I received my order promptly and opened it. To my delight there was no odor and it opened fully within minutes. Put it on the bed and hoped for the best. Well, to my surprise, this inexpensive topper was great! It was comfortable and had just enough firmness to not be overly soft, but provided enough cushion to relieve my body aches. I slept comfortably for the remainder of my stay. If you need a mattress topper and don't want/can't spend a ton of money, this is a good one to try.
