Good looking set and once you feel chairs are stable, tighten screws at that point. I got the firepit also but have not used it yet. Currently using as a table as pictured.

This is perfect 5 pc for a small back yard. The fire place is functional. The only issue is that the cushions move quite a bit and we just put cloth straps underneath. Problem fixed. Otherwise, it is functional and very beautiful.
