Iowa 8"x32" Wool Banner Heritage

This beautifully embroidered 8" x 32" wool banner tracks the evolution of your favorite team mascot/logo over the years. This banner is constructed with applique and embroidery and includes a hanging rod and cord.

Banners and pennants are handcrafted, individually cut and sewn to decorate a fabric with an image. In our day-to-day world, embroidery is most often used on ballcaps, coats, blankets, shirts and jeans. For our embroidered banners and pennants, we use a high quality wool blend fabric and decorate it with embroidery and appliqué detail. Using quality fabrics and paying strict attention to detail are hugely important to us. Many of our embroidered banners and pennants use appliqué, which is additional wool material that is incorporated into the embroidered piece to give added depth to the embroidered image. Embroidery is generally measured in stitches per square inch - and broadly speaking, the more stitches, the higher quality the embroidery. Our products generally have 2000 stitches per square inch, and thus we are able to capture a lot of logo detail. Embroidery gives texture to a piece and allows you to use a wide variety of colored thread to create the image in brilliant colors. Pictures may vary.
