This item was built a lot better than I thought it was going to be. The shelves were a lot more solid that I had thought. They are not super thin gauge wire, and the welds look good. The unit was easy to put together by yourself and did not require any tools. Units shelves are set to what you want. You can set them in 1" increments. The shelves are held by gravity and force. You place clips that are tapered at the height that you want, then the shelf slides over the clip and stays in place due to pressure and the shelf hole is also tapered. The unit has leveling screws at the bottom of each pole and is simple to use and works great. Insert for the unit shows accessories that you can order such as more shelving, replacement clips, wheels and casters, shelving mats, hooks, and extra poles to extend the height. Unit claims 250 lbs. per shelf as long as it is spread evenly, but I use this to store my T-Shirts, so that is not an issue for me. This unit came in Black and Chrome when I was in store, however I do not see that option online.
