My dad was a life long mechanic from 50s to 2000s. He laughed at most snake oils, STP was an exception. He said it worked. That means more than you'll ever know. It's more than just an oil thickener as most people call it. Sure, a 15oz can would thicken up 5qts of cheap 10w-30 to 12.2w-35.6, lol. Yeah that helps at times. But It really does add extra film lubrication. A must have for engine assembly. (also great for fishing reels and ratchets. Caution, a literal bead is all you need).

I have been using STP Oil Treatment for over forty years. I have used it in older cars and new cars and I truly believe it has helped prevent wear on the internal parts of the engines. I have a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport that has 240,000 miles on it and it is still going strong. I believe that the STP has contributed greatly to this engines endurance. I can highly recommend this product.
