As expected and chose this particular one because it is actually an authentic Mexican company after doing some cross referencing with a competitor of Wal-Mart. The price was the same as what the competitor is selling this same one for, but went with Wal-Mart in hopes the shipping would be more reliable and handled more carefully. Came in as promised and very happy with it. I put it on a wooden cutting board I already had that has a raw edge, so it even looks like a bit of a statement piece. It is heavy and I didn't want to risk any damage to my granite countertops when I use it. Yes, this molcajete is a little pricier than some of the others on the website, but worth it to me to buy authentic and putting my dollars, at least a percentage, where I want them to go. (I tried multiple times to download a picture, but just going from phone to laptop keeps saying too big, then tried to crop on computer and still saying too big, so sorry I couldn't show this molcajete off.)
