Great post especially for the price

My cat took to it right away. He had been clawing at a corner of a wall and my chair, which thank God I got cheap at Salvation Army. He had another post but when reading on why cats scratch at walls, one reason mentioned was stretching and that if you have a cat post that is too short, they won't use it. Guess that's why he kept ignoring the old one because he uses this all the time and not my wall or chair now.

Very sturdy, cats Approve!!!

"This is a pretty large sturdy cat post. I have 3 active cats....they all LOVE this tree. I've had two of them at the same time on the pole itself (18lbs) and wresting on it...no tipping at all. This thing is just awesome. Great bang for buck. Also, carpet doesn't shed...I appreciate that I don't need to clean that up too."
