Great post especially for the price

My cat took to it right away. He had been clawing at a corner of a wall and my chair, which thank God I got cheap at Salvation Army. He had another post but when reading on why cats scratch at walls, one reason mentioned was stretching and that if you have a cat post that is too short, they won't use it. Guess that's why he kept ignoring the old one because he uses this all the time and not my wall or chair now.

Incredible durability

I can't say enough good things about this scratching post. The picture I've included is after YEARS of abuse by 7 cats. It has held up so well, we've only just now replaced it because the carpeting was peeling off quite a bit. I've never had a piece of cat furniture last so long. On top of the durability it is nice and tall, so they can get a full stretch, and really wide so even the big boys can use it comfortably. Love it, love it, love it!
