The two toned grey checker textures of the fabric elevates the look and gives a unique feel to the room. The reverse side of the comforter that covers your skin uses a light grey silky soft textured material fabric that's very smooth. It helps you stay cool and comfy while sleeping. The comforter is soft and lightweight which is the perfect balance for hot sleepers or for year round use while still keeping you warm. The textured fabric is sewn seamlessly and I just like the checkered texture look. It also comes in a plastic storage bag so I can easily store it away in the closet when I'm not using it.
