I'm Brazilian and I started on this specialty coffee thing some years ago there. For around 3 years I enjoyed a lot of exceptional small batches in Brazil. This coffee unfortunately is not even closer to the best beans we have in Brazil. For this price ($17+) I was expecting something really special. This one is over roasted, it's like a regular coffee, only smoke flavor, no acidity and very little sweetness. It doesn't even worthy the shipping fee, I could get a better coffee in Trader Joe's. I'll cancel the subscription to not risk another one like this.

OK flavor but nothing special. Unfortunately, most of what I have had from this roaster tastes the same and is really just "regular coffee.
