Oh my god. This is a medium-dark roast that is BOLD. I am definitely buying a bag of this. I did not taste caramel in this, I tasted dark chocolate. I was going to try my other samples but I had to go bakc for a second cup this morning. Flavor stays for a while, even while the coffee cools.

I'm giving it a 5 but reviewed it before and this is a late review and I am speaking for my sons who get gifted by me. They like it and I think I sent it before without reviewing it and forget to ask them what they think of the roast each time. I can't remember what they said exactly and I really would like comparing the first try of all these I get for myself and them but never there in the a.m.

I brew it by accident a little weak at times and should've finished it already but did not bring it when I was at daughter's house a couple of weeks. I wanted to have something good in the morning when I got home. It is caramel like and smooth and a little earthy and even strong was good. I prefer it brewed kind of medium but not too strong because I drink a whole 8 cup press in the morning.
