Great to have a VHS & DVD player in one unit.

It's convenient to have a VHS/DVD player in one unit. It was very easy to set up and connect to the TV. One drawback to the player is it does not have a volume control on the remote so, you have to use the TV remote. I've found no other shortcomings, good unit so far.

Exactly what I was looking for (Toshiba CD/VHS)

Having a number of the old VHS tapes I not only wanted to be able to watch movies and tapes from the past but I also wanted to start converting the tapes to CD. The Toshiba CD/VHS player allows me to watch both my CD's, as well as the VHS tapes. Those VHS tapes that are still in good shape, I'll be able to have professionally converted to CD. I'm very happy with the product.

Great value for VHS-DVD combo... setup in minutes. Still have lots of good VHS tapes to watch but still like to have HQ DVD capabilities.. well with unit you get both. If you use an older TV just buy a RF modulator to go with your purchase. ( If you have trouble hooking this up ask one of your kids or grand kids to get out the crib -- they will do it for you). Sorry, just a little humor to go with the review.. It is a great combo player ... enjoy life. Sincerely Tim
