this is a powerful little nail drill pen for the price range. It doesn't fairly compete with pricier corded models, but it puts out more rpms than most similarly priced units I've bought in the past. Tere is a noticeable difference in how quickly polish or extra extension material can be removed or shaped with this pen compared to the less powerful models. The pen itself has 10 different power settings which allow for much more versatiliy than the standard 3 setting models one usually finds in this price point. It has an ON/OFF button which repeated pressing also controls powr level selection, and a FORWARD/REVERSE button. Typical for units similarly priced, I think the battery lasts roughly he same amount of time once the variabilty of power is considered, the time 4required to turn the uni on or off is excessive because that button also acts as level selection, but I haven't yet found a unit priced simlarly that doesn't share that particular issue. I like that while it does eat up the charge at a fairly good clip, I can attach it to a battery bank and use it longer, and in situaions where standard charging options might not be available. Overall, I'm happy so far with this pen nail drill. It has more features and more power than other uinits at similar prices, it looks niceer than most of the cheaper varieties, and makes me feel like I selected a quality product. The pen comes with a slection of bits and sanding rings that if properly utilized will work well for beginner or non-professional users. The pen receives standard sized bits from expansion sets as easily as the ones provided with it, and I feel like I got good value for the price
