Updates to iOS 9 (max).This iPad is limited by Apple and will not upgrade to the latest iOS and, therefore, some popular applications may not load for you. But don’t worry! We have a workaround solution to help you get most of these apps working on your iPad.Download the newest app from the App Store to a newer Apple device first (iPhone 8 or iPad 5 or higher) that is linked to your Apple ID account. If you have a friend, relative or access to any device with the latest iOS, log into the App Store with your ID and password, download the app, delete the app and then log out of the App Store. If you have already downloaded the app in the past, then you can proceed to the next step. Next, go back to your older Apple iPad (this iPad), sign into the App Store and click on “Purchased Apps” at the bottom. Make sure you sign into the App store with the same Apple ID as you used to download the apps previously. Find your App in the Purchased area and click on the Cloud icon next to it. A small pop-up window will appear asking you “Do you want to download the latest compatible version?” Click “Download” and it will then download the older app version to your iPad. You will then be able to use the app on your older Apple device. Finally, you can still access popular services by going to their website in Safari but note that you will not be able to use video streaming services without obtaining the app through the above instructions.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I clearly read the description about not being able to download things unless you download from a newer Apple device %26 transfer it because it's an older model. BUT I purchased 3 of these for my kids for Christmas along with cases. They do not connect to WiFi. I called the company that sold %26 shipped this to me through Walmart. He pretty much said there's nothing I can do besides get my money back. But now I'm out 3 HUGE Christmas presents for 3 of my kids. I'm very disappointed. I bought these with the understanding you could connect to WiFi only. My kids are younger so we don't need a cellular data plan or anything like that. Just WiFi. But they don't even connect to WiFi. It's ridiculous. I wouldn't recommend. I called Apple support they told me the same thing. The CSR from Apple said it's pretty much garbage. It's too old to even get the most recent update to be able to connect to WiFi. I trouble shooted every possible problem myself along with the company %26 Apple support %26 still nothing. This sucks. Why even sell it if they aren't useful for anything anymore?! Very disappointed.
