Great Price & Design - Awesome Little Knife

Have always loved knives. Owned many, and held lots more belonging to friends and family. Some of those knives have a unique personality that rises above others. This knife is like that. But it's subtle. It's not flashy or big or scary. What it is, is a marvel of industrial design (Designed in USA) wed to function at an amazing price point (Made in China). What I love: - Very very light weight, I don't feel it when I clip it - Nice choice of materials - Surprisingly sturdy... plus my blade/pivot area doesn't wobble :D (yay) - One hand opening (after you lubricate the pivot and exercise the pivot for about a week on a daily basis!) with a reassuring "click" sound when blades locks. - Steel blade that is not too small or too big for my EDC needs, with a nicely shaped drop-point. - The steel takes a nice edge easily and is strong enough to reasonably hold it (unlike other blades that are so difficult to sharpen due to the high chrome content). - I have small hands for a man and it's a nice fit for me. - Enough texture in the handle and blade in the right places What to expect when you get it: - You will have to sharpen it (barely cut paper at first... to be expected though) - You will have to lubricate the blade pivot and "exercise" the pivot with blade to make it buttery smooth (to be expected at this price point) - The belt clip will have to be "flexed" to your needs (very tight at first) - The blade release is very tight at first and will have to be worked to get to a more desirable release tension (A unique design for this. It's actually part of the knife side which has a section that has been machined to a thin curve allowing it to act as the spring to "lock" the blade. This is an ingenious approach really that other knives manufacturers also use variations of.) - You many get a tender spot on your thumb from using the blades knobs for opening and closing the knife repeatedly while breaking it in ;> Bottom line: If you need a basic, well design knife and if you live by the adage "less is more" and you prefer a simple subtle well built affordable approach to EDC, this may be right up your alley and will likely do most "pocket knife" sized tasks and then some. Sure enjoying mine... Hope you like yours too!

To little to tight

The short story of this knife; I like Gerber knives however this knife is so small that it is impractical for daily use. The locking mechanism is to tight and difficult to unlock you risk cutting yourself.
