If you've never had a Core Products ice pack, prepare yourself to have to most wonderful ice pack ever. My husband is a chiropractor (retired) and we used to have Core Products in our clinic--they are fabulous. The outer covering is soft and you could use it against your skin or cover with a light towel. They also last forever --the only reason that I had to replace mine is that my grown kids borrowed them and didn't return them : ).

We've been using these soft-pack neck warmers for years, so we do appreciate having them on those random days when "things aren't right". They do eventually begin to leak, but they're still usable for a long time after that, so thank you for being there.
