I have purchased 4 of these over about a 4 year period. I use my little Aircat 1/4 inch air ratchet as a master line technician for a Ford dealership and I can tell you I have used many varieties of these tools in the 32 years I have been turning wrenches for a living. I think I was sold on the Snap On FAR25 for years but I just got tired of it costing 3-4 times as much and only lasting about 1.5 years before I needed a rebuild at the most, and paying 85.00 for a rebuild that would last maybe 6 months to a year max. The FAR25 is much louder than the Aircat, and the Aircat lasts me 1 year to 1.25 years before the head starts slipping. If I could buy a rebuild kit for the head I could use them a lot longer. The Snap On fails in much the same way but the repair kit costs as much as the rebuild from Snap On. So each year I pay a little less for a whole new air ratchet from Aircat and I am well pleased with its power and everyone I work with are impressed with its quiet operation.

Just bought this ratchet to "try it out". My old Snap On ratchet was on its third rebuild and getting tired again. I was not going to dump another $90 into it. So I bought the Aircat. Nice, quiet and lightweight. Will buy again.

I've this little guy for a few months now and love it. Precise control allows for quickly setting fasteners for hand tighening later. All that and you can still hear the stereo! Thanks Aircat!
