GearWrench 9902D 16-Piece Metric Flex-Head Combination Ratcheting Wrench Set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First glance, nice! First feel, right out of the box... I picked up the 8mm and spun the gears, feels good, then the 10mm and spun, feels good. I grabbed the 25mm, felt just as good. I went one size down to the 24mm and it felt much coarser. I marked the tool and the rotating “socket” with a sharpie and went out to count the teeth... yup, 72, just felt more aggressive if you will. I would swear it was a 60, but I counted, it was 72, but just felt much coarser, maybe the housing allows a bigger tooth. No skips, except 20mm, but there is no “standard” that uses a 20mm head. I have included a table that I found while looking this up. I asked around and some people will say “xxxx cars used that size for a sensor in the 1980's or It's when a 19mm bolt rusts and expands. The holder took a quick minute to get used to. You rotate the wrench forward and lift to remove and place down and rotate back to put away. I prefer the rubber compliant types that hold and release or the magnetic types. I suppose it could be worse and they saved a couple of bucks and we didn't get any holder at all. I compared the heads to my fixed head GearWrench combination wrenches and exactly the same size, no penalty for the flex head. As with ratchets, I am a firm convert to the flex revolution.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very nice set, Wrenches snap easily in a out of wrench holder But will not fall out when you carry with the handle. The 72 tooth ratcheting head works great in tight spots, Also the flexhead stays in position
