Plant Therapy Lemon Essential Oil 10 mL (1/3 oz) 100% Pure, Undiluted, Natural Aromatherapy, Therapeutic Grade

The first thing that struck me about the Plant Therapy Lemon essential oil was how amazing it smells. Like real lemon, not like those fake-smelling bathroom cleaners. Someone walking into my house might have thought I was baking a lemon pie! I hadn't even started using it and already I was enjoying its scent. But of course I wanted to try it out as well so I got to work. Since I don't (yet) own a diffuser, I looked up how to use it and boy did I find a wealth of information! Some people ingest it directly for its supposed health benefits. Others use it in a diffuser, as a cleaning product, in laundry among many others! And it's definitely super easy to use. You just let it drip a few drops onto/into whatever you're using. First, I tried it on my silver candlesticks that were looking rather gold (due to tarnish). I moistened a cotton pad with the oil (nothing else), rubbed gently on the silver and, boy, was I surprised when a noticeable amount of tarnish disappeared! Now, while I wouldn't recommend using this in place of regular silver polish, it would be great for in-between maintenance. (Attached is a picture of the tarnish removed after just a few rubs on my silver. Next, I tried it as a stainless-steel appliance cleaner and, while it worked, I had to use a generous amount and keep adding more so that it wouldn't streak. But it still smelled great! I also tried the lemon oil mixed with my natural, homemade vinegar-based cleaner to freshen the scent (since I don't like a vinegar after-smell). It didn't seem to take away the vinegar smell completely. Last, I used the oil mixed with a bit of olive oil on my wood piano. I used a cotton pad to rub it on and then buffed it with the clean side afterwards. I have to say, it looks better than in has in years! I usually wipe it down with whatever cleaner I happen to be using, but this really brought out its natural shine and texture. My absolutely favorite aspect of this oil, though is how delicious it makes my house smell!
