    A nice compact radio

    Delivery from WalMart was lightning fast, and what I have come to expect. Radio is being used on my recreational fishing boat being used along the Jersey Shore. After the previous radio failed, I ordered this one. It fit in the existing mount, and I only needed to wire it for power. It was installed quickly and performs well. Since it is not as deep in size as the last radio (but the same width), it gave me a little extra space beside my depth finder and gps unit. Boat owners will agree that space is at a premium on a boat, so the few extra inches of space this radio provided was much appreciated. The price on this radio was great, comparable to other online retailers. It's always great to have a vhf on board, for safety and to communicate with other boaters nearby. Be safe out there everyone!
