This is a great little day pack. The side water bottle pockets are awesome. I normally don't expect much out of the water bottle pockets with an economy backpack, so I was pleasantly surprised with these. Another feature that I like are the hip straps. You usually don't expect that with an inexpensive day pack. This is a great pack for bicycle commuting.

Excellent little pack for those who want smaller!

If you are looking for a small, light duty day pack, this one fits the bill perfectly. It is made of thinner denier polyester with off brand zippers, so don't expect this to take a lot of abuse compared to tactical packs or higher denier packs made with nylon. The thing this pack does excel at are the features. Including dual water bottle pockets, a front spacious side zippered pouch, comfortable ring style zipper pulls, a hydration bladder holder and three features you do not normall find on lower end packs: a sternum strap AND a hip belt plus a hydration pouch AND a hose port you can snake the hose down from either side. Two big cons: 1. The hydration port opening is VERY small, so don't expect to be able to use a Camelbak bladder or similiar as the hose bite valve will not fit. 2. There is no horizontal front pocket that you normal find for holding pencils, pens etc. This is a hiking pack, not a school pack. All in all, a great pack for those who like the 14 liter size and and perfect for short hikes!
