After some IBS after taking solid calcium supplements for years, I switched to Puritan Pride's Absorbable calcium 1200 mg plus vitamin d3 25 mcg. Have not had any issues since. Check the pill size on the web site: The calcium pills are soft and about the same size as other calcium products. These are still easy to swallow with water. won't take any other type of calcium supplement.
