Slippery but nice

I ordered it in black to put under my work at home desk. It's truly black. I didn't realize, which is my fault, it's fake fur. It's very slippery. Not the backing on the rug, but the fur itself. The rug stays place but if you have socks on you're going to slide on the fur. I like it and so does my dog. ** I took it to the laundromat and washed it in the big machine. I was worried about the backing. I hung it over my clothesline and it dried nice. It flattened out on the floor.
