The "Steel Core" line of storage beds by Republic Design House have an internal structure that is constructed of lightweight tubular steel with a tested weight capacity of 1500 LBS of evenly distributed weight. The advantage of having the "Steel Core" structure is the longevity and strength provided by a constructed steel framework as opposed to wood or another material that may breakdown over the years. Beyond the premium construction, the timeless styling of this bed makes the Portman upholstered storage bed from Republic Design House the perfect choice for someone looking to incorporate a stylish, quality centerpiece to their bedroom. This storage bed offers an adjustable height headboard setting allowing the headboard to be 54, 57 or 60 inches tall. Focusing on the details of the headboard, you will notice the individually hand-set nickel nail head trim, along with the substantial look that comes to your bedroom with a 5-inch thick headboard
