Material: Sanding paper sheets are made of silicone carbide and electroplated, so it will not fall apart, tear off or crumble off when working. The back of sandpaper is made from latex paper which ensures flexible to make a good fit to your hand or machine.
Applications: Waterproof sandpapers are perfect for sanding wood furniture , wood turning and metal and also suitable for polishing lacquer, porcelain, plastics, glass, stone, leather etc..
Notes: The sandpaper back color sometimes is different with the picture, but it will not affect the performance of the product.

Not great for sanding steel

The sandpaper is very easy to use. It does not work great on stainless steel so you'd have to go over quite a few times. But it's definitely large enough to do so without worrying about wearing down the sandpaper itself.
