I bought 3 of these skirts and love the comfort. They are very lightweight and ideal for warm weather, but also have a dressy look that is perfect for evening, any time of year. The fabric is a satin, but not overly shiny, and if I didn't know it was synthetic, I would say it is silk (but without the heavy wrinkling of lightweight silk).
