The DermaHarmony 10% Benzoyl Peroxide (non-soap) Cleansing Bar was especially formulated for those with acne. This bar is for use on mild to moderate acne. It may be used in combination with other acne treatments as directed by your doctor. When applied to the skin, benzoyl peroxide (BPO) works by reducing the amount of acne-causing bacteria and by causing the skin to dry and peel. Benzoyl peroxide works well for inflammatory acne, which is characterized by red bumps that contain pus (pustules, papules, cysts, and nodules). If you just have blackheads and whiteheads, salicylic acid & sulfur soaps and cleansers will work well to clear out pores. If you are prone to red, angry pimples then keep BPO in your product rotation.

Instructions
For best results use daily. Work-up a lather using warm water and gently massage into problem areas. Cleansing solution should stay in contact with skin for at least 60-90 seconds. Then rinse thoroughly and pat dry. Use at least twice a week on affected areas in place of your regular soap or as directed by a doctor. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day. If desired, follow cleansing with the moisturizer of your choosing.
