It's functional, but not the highest quality.

It was a little janky assembly and kind of cumbersome. Still only took about 10 minutes to put together. The lid doesn't really open all the way and the screws were real pain to mount in the lid, but it has a nice smooth lifting action. That holds in place pretty well and closes nice and smooth as well. It's very lightweight thin flimsy plastic but seems to bend well at least where it's new. If you're worried about wind you're going to have to put something heavy in the bottom, screw it into the deck, or if on the grass use larger swirly at least 18 inch ground screws. Other than that seems to work fine so far and looks pretty good.

It wasn't as much a joy to put together as I expected. The pieces didn't 'snap in' as easily as I had expeced. The price for this item was very low compared to others of the same size....but it was not as sturdy as others I bought at higher prices, But they are fine for my use.....storing winter clothes! I would buy it again....just because I am not using it as a deck box that will be put outside...or a 'bench' to sit on. For my purpose.....it was excellent!
