I ordered this for my art studio. I have two studio cats that like to destroy things. Although I have had this carpet for approx. a month, it looks like my cats will not be able to shread it. So I'm loving it! the black is not totally solid black nor is the off white which is more of a 'non' yellow wheat color. It is a woven so each color possesses hints of the other. I have a 6 x 9' size, the vine/leaf motif is larger than I imagined by looking at the pictures provided. the largest circular pattern is approx. 15" wide, other than that I am very happy with this indoor out door rug. p.s. the edges do not curl up!!!!! :)
