First, this product was available well ahead of the estimated time of delivery. I was grateful, as my supply was very low. Second, I realize from the product descriptions that this product may not have been the exact product I needed. I'm recovering from an out-patient surgical procedure. But the product (sponges) have performed admirably. They absorb blood effectively, eliminating any concerns of staining, and they're integrity remains intact over several hours, such as during the night. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone recovering from surgery and in need of an absorbent sponge to aid in the healing process.
