As I never ate baby food from a jar as a child, I really struggle with the smell of this food. HOWEVER, THIS BABY FOOD AND IT'S AWEFUL SMELL, HAS SAVED THE LIFE OF MY BELOVED FERRET Big Lips. This baby food is great for my kitty cat that can only eat soft food. It's a little hard to get all of it out of the jar while your kitty cat is hollering at you, but she loves it when she gets it. She thanks me later. I do recommend this brand, however it's from the kitty cats opinion. We have tried cheaper brands and she didn't like any of them. In my opinion I wish the jars were a little bigger but, this food was made for babies. My vet is the one that recommended this food for my kitty cat.

Purchased to begin refeeding my cat who went missing for six weeks and lost half of his body weight after a TNR rescue expert recommended it. I added water ( bc he was badly dehydrated but wouldn't drink water) %26 poured the wet gruel over a bit of high protein dry kibble. It reeks to high heaven but did the trick in tempting him to lick it. Same price point as Beechnut but more protein.
