I purchased this Amcrest camera to replace an aging camera in our driveway. It was extremely easy to install. I purchased this POE version, as I have POE connections for cameras. I am using this camera with a 3rd party Network Video Recording (NVR) Software. This camera does support RTSP protocol. This camera has a lot of settings and really awesome features. You can access the settings via the Amcrest app or via the web UI. Some of my favorite new features this camera has is the white light. The white light can be set to burn steady or flash when it detects a person. I have mine setup to only turn on from 9pm to 6pm. One of the main reasons I replaced an outdated camera was to get audio. The audio on this camera works great with my 3rd party recording software. This camera has a great wide field of view, much wider than my previous camera. The Night Color vision is incredibly amazing. I have never seen a camera do this well at night.

I liked the reviews I've watched on the clarity but I have yet to get it to properly work The installation guide tells you to type in the barcode number on the unit underneath it there is none on there it also gives you instructions on stuff that isn't part of the camera which doesn't make any sense I bought a NVR power injector I got cat 7 cable I even put the SD card in it and there's no way to check if it's working or if it links which it doesn't The app doesn't seem to work very good at all registering anything in the instructions it tells you they'll be a green light once you sync it to your Wi-Fi if you decide to use it that way which I didn't I want to use it as a hard wire connection to a hard drive I installed in my NVR yet that wouldn't work so I tried the Wi-Fi and there is no green light on that camera whatsoever or if there is it has yet to link thank God I have other cameras up but man spent over $300 so far and have yet to get it to work not too impressed and it isn't on my end for installation wise think I can manage a camera system in a POE setup with dedicated monitor dedicated hard drive dedicated network video recorder all hardline connected it should just work but it doesn't May just be mine but I kind of gave up on it
