This shave system is so high end and will be a posh addition to your toiletry bag! It has a vintage feel and look with the silver finish and substantial weight. The blade is thin and precise… it will get in all the tough spots. Great for face, neck and even leg hair. It comes with ten blades so it's also a very good value. One of my favorite things about this razor is how environmentally friendly it is with no plastic to rub on your skin or throw in the land fill every time you shave. Nice to have a well made double edge razor and blades again. Have been fully fed up with the plastic toss-outs that seem to have more blades and less comfort every time they go through another cycle, I have seen up to six blades in cartridges lately and if the trend continues control in tight places will be utterly lost. This razor has a lightly knurled handle and good balance and the blade holding top consists of two pieces that completely unscrew for changing or cleaning the blades. Secure and far more sanitary than using something that might still be sharp if you could only remove the hair and shed skin clogging the cutting face. The only reason I stopped using a double edge in the first place was because I could not get blades for the old 1950's razor my dad gave me as a kid, that problem is now solved because the same company is selling the same platinum blades that come with the razor.
