The color is not gold as I thought. More of an amber. No problem, I spray painted it gold. Not long enough to hold rectangular tissues! Cannot fit a full box of tissues, I have to put in about 1/4 of the box and curve the ends in then push the top on to close it! It looks good just not as practical as it should be be.
