I love this handheld sealer! I already own one so I'm buying this for Christmas. We both have food vacuum sealer machines but I find the handheld stick sealer is way more convenient and therefore more readily to use. You'll find you're going to use the handheld sealer more often than getting the bulkier machine out of a cabinet, setting it up, plugging it in, and getting it ready for use. Also tips for freezing; freeze your items individually (IQF). To freeze items from fresh bread to liquids, you must freeze them on a flat tray individually, or in a bowl, container, and freeze them solid. Then take items out or off the containers they're frozen in, put them in an appropriately sized bag seal the bag apply the handheld sealer to the bag. BAM! You've just frozen soup measured out for a meal to muffins for breakfast. No plug in to worry about, storage to have to make an issue of, it fits perfectly in any drawer. Just charge it up for use . I love how easy it is to use this. I just set the sealer on top of the circle on the bag and hold it there and it seals it. and it has this clip that shuts the bag for you which works perfect. and it is rechargeable. I use it for food items that I don't use all at once like a brick of cheese. I used to just cut a larger FoodSaver bag and just keep resealing that, but this is so much more economical and easy. I did order more bags, and hopefully they're the right ones. I do think that replacement bags might only have to come directly from China I couldn't find any here when I looked.
