This year the part of the Midwest I am in has had warm weather throughout the winter. After 1 week period that had freezing weather the temperatures were so warm that perennial landscaping started to act like it was spring. The last Frost/Freeze in my area is May 1st. So, I knew I had to do something more than a frost blanket to maintain these plants thru May 1st or I would lose all my landscaping that I could not afford to replace. These panels come with directions on their cover, because one side is made to directly face the sun. I specifically left small straps of this material on the panels so I would always know which side faced out. The alpine lupine that I didn't have enough panels for froze solid despite being covered with leaf mulch. The large flower bed in the front has so far been saved by cutting 4 panels down into a mini greenhouse and then covering with a frost cover. 2 more panels along the side of the house have open ends, but also seem to have saved those flowers. I am very pleased that these have helped me save possibly hundreds of dollars of landscaping. Our extremely bizarre warm winter, with rapid swings to below freezing, followed by rapid high Temps and back again is very confusing for any plants. Many people will lose and have lost their perennials this year. I have managed to save many of mine with the help of these panels and that makes them worth the cost.

Will be using for our small green house. Its thick enough to seem durable. thin enough for effective sunlight penetration
