Zebra's DS8178-SR 2D imager, Standard Range, Cordless, Twilight Black. Unprecedented barcode scanning performance on virtually every 1D and 2D barcode including dense, poorly printed, crinkled, faded, distorted, dirty or damaged, as well as electronic barcodes on dimly lit displays. This scanner also supports Digimarc digital watermark technology. Also, the power to scan continuously for over 24 hours with Zebra's PowerPrecision+ batterey or scan with as little as a 35 second charge with interchangeable Zebra PowerCap supercapacitor.
The cradle acts as a charger and radio communication interface for the DS8178 cordless digital scanner. It can sit on a desk top, be mounted on a wall, or mounted on self-serve check out or cart station. The cradle cradle receives data from the digital scanner via Bluetooth and sends the data to the host through an attached USB cable or external power supply. The cradle also charges the scanner's battery when the scanner is attached.
