Philips Norelco Series 7000 Shaver 7500, S7371/84

While traveling, my favorite razor (upscale competitor to Norelco) disappeared following a TSA inspection of my baggage. Needing a new razor, but open to something different, I purchased the Norelco 7500. Here are my thoughts: 1. While it is marketed for sensitive skin, I really don't think it makes that much of a difference. 2. Important to use for 3 weeks as recommended. Shaving experience improved over that time. 3. While it shaves well without any shaving gel, the quality of shave greatly improves with gel. it honestly shaves like a regular blade with gel. 4. Considering the cost, good value compared to previous razor.

I am 39 yo and have very sensitive skin so shaving was always problematic... to the point that as a teenager I grew a beard and only shave little sections of my face to make it even (neck and cheeks). Even on these sections, my worst nightmare were hot summer days after a shower and not being able to shave without having my whole face turn like a tomato. This is the firs shaver ever that produced 0 irritation on my skin, time and time again under any weather conditions. I hope it lasts a long time :-) I wish I didn't have to change the head for the trimmer, it would be easier to have it built in, but still, I wouldn't chose any other shaver for sensitive skin.
