I use thse instant mashed potatoes in my cooking all the time! They are a pantry staple for my household in all their flavors. I keep them in our emergency hurricane kit since they can be prepared with just hot water if need be. I use them to thicken soups and for my potato bread recipes. I love mixing them dry with plain breadcrumbs and shredded cheese to make a crispy topping for my casseroles.

I love Idaohoan, seriously the best mashed potato mix.For this Red Potato, if you dont cook long enough you will have sharp crunchy chunks that will change the course of your dinner. I usually nuke them in water, adding a bit of extra water and they are perfect. Price has gone up 50 percent, any more increase and I'll be whiny and have to use a non-name brand. :)
