This case does not have a built in screen protector, even though it closely r esembkes an Otterbox, which does have a screen protector. I don't see how any case can claim to protect an iPad without a screen protector. The description says "3 layers of protection", which I took to mean the front was protected, but there is only a frame around the edge of the screen, no clear plastic over the screen as I assumed. I know, I shouldn't have assumed, I should have just bought an Otterbox, which I will do from now on.
