My 7 year old daughter is tall for her age and skinny. She wears a 7 in pants but usually a size down for shorts and skirts because her waist is small. I ordered this in a size 6 and it fits her perfectly! She LOVES the pink and the tulle ruffles. I was a little concerned with the length since it's hard to tell online how short things will be, but it's a great length. It's not too short, comes maybe an inch above her knee and looks adorable on.
