This was a great buy!!!! I brought this to mount to the wall so my 3 and 6 year old son's wont be able to touch it. This might have been the smartest thing I did,it literally cools my whole living room off. I was looking at other fans and they were $120-$150. I got this one for 60 bucks. It does everything the other fans did and it may be a little loud for your taste but it's big and it moves a lot of air and that's what I needed. There's no fan that moves this much air that doesn't make this much noise. Great product. !
